A/B tests can be a real slap in the face: You imagine how much the changes could affect user behavior, only to find out that they don't care at all. Our previous A/B test for our call to actions didn't have high conversion rates, so we keep testing them.
And with the current one, we finally see results that are way better than we expected them to be. Here's the test (for Desktop):
And guess what: For the desktop version, this new CTA increased click rate by 800%! It's still a long way to go, but numbers went up from a 0.02% click rate to 0.18%.
We have some ideas, but currently have a hard time figuring out why. What do you think?
