Entrepreneurial stories that motivate me (1)
It's always the big stories that make the news.
The big funding round. The huge exit. The crazy founder that lived in his car for *20* years but persisted and finally landed a huge hit.
And that's normal. People love stories.
However, most successes don't look like this.
I've been thinking a lot about the startup “world†recently and happened to discover that I'm more motivated by other kinds of stories, by people creating great products, adding value, and ultimately having success with that. Every now and then I want to share one of those stories with you.
This time it's about Pieter Levels: Bootstrapping Side Projects into Profitable Startups.
Levels is all about building stuff. He once challenged himself building 12 startups in 12 months, and tried to make them profitable.
One of the products that emerged from that was Nomad List, a platform for remote workers to discover new spots. In his post, he's talking about everything he's learned from building these products, and how he grew Nomad List to $40k/month revenue alone.
