The importance of the first experience as a new team member
We're excited! Tomorrow, our first full time team member will join us for an internship. And the next one is following on April 11th. We're really looking forward to having some fresh minds on the team to help us push HashtagNow forward.
We thought a lot about onboarding new team members. I feel like the first experience is very important and can really affect motivation and team spirit for the upcoming weeks. I had two very different experiences in my own internships, where one time the founders really took time to help me understand why I should do this particular project, while the other time I was just put to the "intern table" without really knowing why I'm doing what I was supposed to do (at the beginning).
