Goals outside my startup

A startup can pretty much occupy your mind 24/7. Although it's fun most of the time, it can also be dangerous and hinder your motivation and agility when you're all about your startup and stop taking care of yourself.

I try to make sure I stay healthy by going to the gym almost every morning before work. And although I'd been working out for years, I've lacked motivation recently, sometimes skipping gym for weeks. That's bad. Motivating yourself for something else than the no.1 thing occupying you is tough (ask the crappy seminar paper I submitted last week). And it's even tougher when you don't have clear goals.

This is why try to set goals for my personal life, as well, now. I bought a book about calisthenics want to be able to perform a muscle up by this summer, which is a discipline that needs strong commitment and lots of exercise to be mastered.

What's your personal goals besides your job?
-Jan
