We just hired two part time employees to help us with content and marketing. They're smart, ambitious, and really care about our product. And still, it takes so much time.
"Would be great to have someone write blog posts for content marketing"
-> now I have more stories to edit, design images for, and promote
"Would be amazing to have someone write weekly newsletters for us."
-> a lot of Mailchimp overhead and design tasks for me
Having new people working on your product and company is the best! They bring in new ideas, fun and excitement. However, never underestimate the additional time it takes to onboard new team members. My friends over at Campusjäger are really great at process optimization even have an onboarding booklet called "Die Jagdbibel". Love that idea. Should do something similar as soon as possible.
