Streaks
The other day I noticed a weird star next to my Product Hunt profile (with a number next to it):
So the number next to the star is the number of consecutive days where I have been upvoting at least one product on their website. And guess what, I didn't want this star to go away! So I tried to make sure I visit PH once a day and keep upvoting. Nice retention feature!
It's also with other apps like Snapchat (where people have snap streaks as explained in this interesting article): when we have a feature that motivates people to come back every day, that's gold! Need to think about something like that for HashtagNow ðŸ“
